Accepting Christ as Your Personal Savior

A Biblical Guide to Salvation

At DJ4God Radio, our greatest desire is not only to play uplifting Gospel music—but to share the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. The Bible clearly teaches how a person can be saved and have eternal life.

Below is a simple, Scripture-based guide to accepting Christ as your personal Savior.

1. Recognize That We Are All Sinners

The Bible teaches that every person has sinned and falls short of God’s perfect standard.

Romans 3:23 – “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”

Romans 3:10 – “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one.”

Sin separates us from God and leaves us in need of a Savior.

2. Understand the Consequences of Sin

Sin carries a serious consequence—spiritual death and separation from God.

Romans 6:23a – “For the wages of sin is death…”

Revelation 20:15 – “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”

Without Christ, we face eternal separation from God.

3. Believe That Jesus Christ Paid the Price

God loves us so much that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die in our place.

Romans 5:8 – “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

1 Peter 2:24 – “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree…”

Jesus took our punishment so we could receive forgiveness.

4. Salvation Is by Grace Through Faith

You cannot earn salvation by good works, religion, or church attendance. It is a gift from God.

Ephesians 2:8–9 – “For by grace are ye saved through faith… not of works, lest any man should boast.”

Titus 3:5 – “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us…”

Salvation is received by faith—trusting completely in Jesus Christ.

5. Repent and Confess Jesus as Lord

The Bible teaches that we must turn from sin (repent) and place our faith in Jesus.

Acts 3:19 – “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out…”

Romans 10:9–10 – “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

Romans 10:13 – “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Salvation becomes personal when you call upon Him in faith.

6. Assurance of Salvation

When you receive Christ, you can know you have eternal life.

1 John 5:11–13 – “That ye may know that ye have eternal life…”

2 Corinthians 5:17 – “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature…”

Salvation is not based on feelings—but on the promises of God’s Word.

A Simple Prayer of Faith

Prayer does not save you—Jesus does. But you can express your faith to Him in prayer:

“Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I repent of my sins and ask You to come into my heart and be my Savior. I place my trust in You alone for salvation. Thank You for saving me. Amen.

”At DJ 4 God Radio, our mission is to spread the Word of God one song at a time. We pray that the message of the Gospel continues to strengthen your faith, uplift your spirit, and draw you closer to Jesus every single day.
