D.J. 4 God
I was once asked by my second grade teacher if I wished one of my siblings was born with a disability instead of me. My answer shocked her. “No Mam! I am glad God gave me my disability and not my brother or sister,” I said. My name is Robert Martin. At birth my lungs collapsed and as a result, I was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. My life has been filled with many uphill battles. I grew up in a christain family and accepted the Lord as my Savior at the age of eight. I have been blessed to have God by my side throughout my life. In high school, I was fortunate to participate in a job study at a local gospel radio station, WBLB 1340 AM. My love for the Lord and desire to serve him led me to a small church in Ronceverte, West Virginia where I was privileged to preach for 2 years. Over the next several years, I was faced with many negative advisories which caused a lot of hardship in my life and severed my relationship with the Lord. During this time, I had a stroke which compromised my ability to care for myself. Since this time, I have rededicated my life to my God and Savior, Jesus Christ. I spend most of my days listening to preaching and gospel music. While searching the internet, I stumbled upon Live 365 and created my own radio station, DJ 4 God. Through this outlet, I am able to share God’s word through music and continue to grow my relationship with HIM. I know that my loving, witty, little sermonette preaching Maw-Maw is looking down from above with a smile on her face.
